Sell Returns Sales & POS
/sell-return
Lists customer returns (credit notes) and their payment status; new returns are started from the original sale, not from here.
The table lists each return's date, invoice number, parent sale, customer, location, payment status, total amount, and payment due. Filters narrow by business location, customer, and date range; a user filter is also available to those with full return access.
There is no Add button on this screen — a return is always started from the Sell Return action on the original sale's row in the All Sales or POS Sales list. Once created, each return's Actions menu offers View, Edit, Delete (hidden once an e-invoice credit note has been generated), Print, and Add/View Payment.
Saving a return automatically generates a credit-note reference number, restores the returned quantity to stock, marks the returned quantity against the original sale's line items, and recalculates the sale's payment status. If the original sale earned loyalty points, the customer's points are adjusted to reflect the reduced total.
Access requires access_sell_return for full visibility, or access_own_sell_return to see only returns you created.
