Receipt Printers Settings
/printers
Registers network, Windows or Linux printers used for POS receipt printing, with capability profile and connection settings.
Receipt Printers lists the printers configured for point-of-sale receipt printing, showing name, connection type, capability profile, characters per line, and (for network printers) IP address and port, or (for Windows/Linux printers) the local device path. It requires the access_printers permission to view, with separate update and delete permissions gating the edit and delete actions per row.
Each printer specifies a Connection Type (network, Windows, or Linux) and a Capability Profile matching the receipt printer model's supported command set, which affects how receipts are formatted when printed from the POS screen.
