Productions Manufacturing

Records production runs that convert recipe ingredients into finished stock, and lists all production transactions with their quantity and cost.

Filters narrow the list by business location and date range. The table shows the transaction date, reference number, location, product, quantity produced, and total cost.

Click Add to open the production form: pick a recipe, the location, and the quantity to manufacture. When saved, the ingredient stock the recipe consumes is deducted and the finished product's stock is increased.

A production can be saved as a draft (not yet final) — editable and deletable from the row actions — or marked final, after which only View remains available and the record is locked. Access requires the manufacturing.access_production permission.

Step-by-step Workflow

1. Filter by location or dateNarrow the list to the site or period you're reviewing.
2. Click AddStart a new production entry.
3. Choose the recipe and quantitySelect which recipe to manufacture and how many units to produce; ingredient consumption is calculated automatically.
4. Save as draft or finalizeKeep the production editable as a draft, or finalize it to lock the record and update stock.
5. Review or editUse View to see production details, or Edit and Delete while the record is still a draft.
