Business Settings Settings
/business/settings
Central configuration hub for the business — general details, tax, product, sales, purchase, payment, system, prefix, communication and module settings, all in one tabbed screen.
Business Settings is a single tabbed form covering every business-wide configuration option. It requires the business_settings.access permission. The left-hand menu switches between panels for Business (name, logo, currency, financial year, accounting method — FIFO/LIFO — timezone, date format), Tax, Product, Contact, Sale, POS Sale, Purchase, Payment, Dashboard, System, Prefixes (invoice/reference number prefixes), Email Settings (with Email Support and AI Ticketing sub-panels when the ticketing module is active), SMS Settings, Reward Point Settings, Modules, e-invoice/e-waybill/GST filing panels (shown when licensed), Custom Labels, and User Settings.
Only the active tab's fields are validated on save — inputs inside hidden tabs (for example an unconfigured Email Support panel) are ignored so they cannot block saving from another tab. Settings that involve structured data — keyboard shortcuts, POS settings, email settings, SMS settings, custom labels, common settings and the weighing-scale configuration — are stored and re-loaded per tab.
Related settings such as tax rates, invoice numbering, business locations and printers live on their own dedicated screens and are cross-referenced from here.
