Generate and manage employee payslips, payroll groups for bulk processing, and the fixed and employee-specific pay components used to calculate them.

The Payroll screen has three tabs. Payroll lists individual payslips with Employee, Department, Designation, Month/Year, Ref No, Total Amount and Payment Status columns, and an Add button to generate a new payslip for an employee and month. Payroll Groups lists batches created to process payroll for many employees at once, showing Name, Status, Payment Status, Total Gross Amount, Added By, Location and Created At, with actions to view, edit or add a payment against the group.

The Pay Components tab has two sub-tabs: Fixed Components, which are allowances or deductions of a given type and amount effective from a date, and Employee Specific Components, which apply a component to a particular employee. Both are gated by the essentials.view_allowance_and_deduction and essentials.add_allowance_and_deduction permissions.

Employees can also reach their own historical payslips via the My Payrolls shortcut on the HRM Dashboard rather than the full admin Payroll screen.
