Tax Report Reports
/reports/tax-report
Breaks down input tax (on purchases), output tax (on sales) and expense tax over a period, plus any module-added tax tabs such as GST.
The Tax Report shows how much tax the business has charged customers versus paid to suppliers and on expenses for a given period. It requires the tax_report.view permission and reads figures per configured tax rate (see Tax Rates settings).
The page is organized into tabs: Input Tax (tax paid on purchases), Output Tax (tax charged on sales), and Expense Tax (tax paid on business expenses). Any modules that add their own tax reporting (for example GST filing tabs) are appended automatically after these core tabs. The overall tax difference — output tax minus input tax minus expense tax — is calculated for the selected period.
Filter results with the date range picker, the Business Location dropdown and a specific Contact (customer or supplier) to narrow the figures to one party.
