Configure the repair module's statuses, device taxonomy, job sheet defaults and printed job sheet/label layout, in one tabbed screen.

Repair Settings is a tabbed configuration screen with a Status tab (the repair statuses table described on the Repair Statuses page), a Devices tab for managing the device taxonomy, a Device Models tab (filterable by brand and device) for managing specific models per brand, a Repair Settings tab, a Custom Settings tab for extra custom statuses, and a Jobsheet PDF Settings tab.

The Repair Settings tab configures the default barcode setting and barcode type used for repair items, an optional default product to attach to new job sheets, a default repair status, a job sheet number prefix, a default repair checklist, and default text for product configuration, problem reported by customer, product condition, and repair terms & conditions, plus up to five custom job sheet field labels.

The Jobsheet PDF Settings tab controls what appears on the printed job sheet and label: toggles to show customer information, a customer label, a client ID (with its own label), a client tax label, and which contact custom fields to include, plus label dimensions (width/height in mm) and individual toggles for showing the customer name, address, phone, alternate phone, email, salesperson, barcode, status, due date, technician, problem description, job sheet number, serial number, brand, location and password on the printed label.

Access to this screen requires the edit_repair_settings permission for the settings link to appear, and the underlying save actions require repair.create together with the repair module being enabled in the business's subscription.
