Customers Contacts

ourerp.org/contacts?type=customer Contacts Customers Our ERP · blueprint preview

The full list of customer contacts for the business, with sales totals, sell-due balances, customer group, filters, and quick actions like payments and ledger views.

This is the Contacts screen filtered to type=customer; viewing it requires customer.view or customer.view_own (which limits the list to customers assigned to you). The table shows Contact ID, Business Name, Name, Email, Tax No, Credit Limit, Pay Term, Opening Balance, Advance Balance, Added On, a reward-points column (only when the business's reward-points feature is enabled), Customer Group, Address, Mobile, Total Sale Due, Total Sell Return Due, and any configured custom fields.

A filter panel offers checkboxes for Sell Due, Sell Return, Advance Balance and Opening Balance, a Has No Sell From dropdown (one/three/six months or one year of inactivity), a Customer Group filter, an Assigned To user filter, and a Status dropdown (Active/Inactive). Depending on permission, non-admin users may automatically be restricted to customers with no sale in the last one or three months. Each row's Actions dropdown offers Pay (record against sale due), Receive Sell Return Due (only when a return balance exists), View, Edit, Delete and Activate/Deactivate, followed by quick links to the customer's Ledger, Sales and Documents & Notes.

An Add button (needs customer.create or the view_own equivalent) opens the create-customer form in a modal.

Step-by-step Workflow

  1. Filter the customer listUse the checkboxes for sell due, sell return, advance balance or opening balance, or the Has No Sell From, Customer Group, Assigned To and Status filters, to narrow the table.

  3. Collect a paymentOpen a row's Actions menu and choose Pay to record a payment against its outstanding sale balance.
  4. Review customer historyUse the row's Ledger or Sales links to see the customer's transaction history in context.
  5. Maintain the recordUse Edit to update contact or credit-limit details, or Activate/Deactivate and Delete to manage whether the customer stays selectable at the point of sale.
